A Hearth Guardian is a steward of sanctuary.
You are a Personal Assistant (PA) working on a PRN (pro re nata) basis.
This means you are there when the need arises.
This means you are the quiet force that restores order when the world feels chaotic.
We believe that every person has a Right to a Clean Home.

It is a foundational human requirement for mental clarity and emotional safety.

I have spent years understanding the intersection of trauma and the home.
I have learned that for many, the act of cleaning is tied to shame.
It is tied to memories of being "not enough" or "too much."
I don't believe the people we serve are "lazy."
I believe they are often overwhelmed by the weight of their own stories.
As a Hearth Guardian, you enter these stories with dignity.
You practice trauma-informed cleaning.
You understand projection.
You understand that a client's frustration is rarely about the dishes.
We do the work of the hands so the soul can do the work of the healing.

The Economics of Dignity
We are changing the way housekeeping is valued.
The industry often treats the worker as an invisible commodity.

For our 3-hour Audition Clean, the entry-level service fee is $82.
From that $82, exactly $60 goes directly to you.
This is a non-negotiable commitment to your worth.
As a 1099 independent specialist, you maintain your operational sovereignty, bringing your own restorative tools and plant-based, non-toxic elements to execute the job. We believe that when a partner is paid a living, dignified wage, they can bring their full, sovereign self to the work.
Before joining regular placement, all incoming specialists complete an "Audition Clean"—a paid working interview to ensure a perfect mutual fit for our team and our clients. You are not rushing to meet a quota.

To protect the focus and the physical safety of our team, we maintain a strict protocol.
We operate in animal-free environments only.

We are moving from a regional focus in Western New York to a global advocacy movement.

Giving Back to the Hearth
Our growth is tied to our generosity.
We do not believe in profit without purpose.
We operate on a model of radical accountability and generosity:
Physical Book Sales: 10% of all physical book profits are donated to a featured organization each month, such as The Xyayx Institute, to support education and community advancement. For bulk orders totaling 500 copies or more, 10% of those profits will be donated directly to an organization of the purchaser's choice.
Digital Sales: 15% of all digital sales fund our "Regional Resets." These resets provide free, intensive cleaning and organization for individuals in crisis who cannot afford the entry fee.
When someone buys a book, they are helping us clear the path for someone else.
