We are standing at a threshold.
From our roots in Western New York to our growing global community, we are demanding a shift in how society views the labor of the home.
We are currently gathering 100,000 signatures to present to Erie County and Western NY officials.
Our goal is clear: We are petitioning for a mandate that provides 6 weeks of free, professional restorative housekeeping for every new mother and every individual living with a disability.
We are not asking for a luxury; we are asking for a lifeline.
You learn to stop asking for help when the help feels like a burden to others.
You learn to "just get through it" until your body breaks or your spirit fades.
But here in Erie County, we have seen the data.
We know that maternal health outcomes and mental health stability are directly tied to the environment.
A chaotic home is a high-cortisol home.

The Right to a Restored Hearth
Why 6 weeks?
Because healing takes time.
Whether you are recovering from childbirth or navigating life with a disability, the first few weeks of a major transition are the most vulnerable.
In this window, the risk of the "adultification" of children—where they take on chores far beyond their years—is highest.
In this window, the risk of postpartum depression and isolation is at its peak.
Safety is not just the absence of danger; it is the presence of a supportive environment that allows for rest.
When we speak of a "Restored Hearth," we speak of a home where the energy is no longer stagnant.
We speak of a space where you can breathe.
Where you can bond.
Where you can simply be.
The Global Healing Endowment

We operate on a model of radical accountability and generosity:
Physical Book Sales: 10% of all physical book profits are donated to a featured organization each month, such as The Xyayx Institute, to support education and empowerment. For bulk orders totaling 500 copies or more, 10% of those profits will be donated directly to an organization of the purchaser's choice.
Digital Sales: 15% of all digital sales are channeled into our "Regional Resets," providing direct, pro-bono cleaning services to families in crisis right here in our community.

We take the trauma of our pasts—the neglect, the mess, the unmet needs—and we transform it into a fund that ensures no one else has to walk that path alone.
